We just love a house with old bones! This centennial home needed additional space for a growing family, and as luck would have it, was beautifully positioned on an oversized lot in a super location.
In addition to some well-needed lipstick – refinished floors, updated windows, and a new kitchen – we added a beautiful, bright two-storey addition which included an attached garage, mudroom, and cathedral ceiling recreation room and additional bedroom. In keeping with the heritage of the home, original Ottawa River floorboards and beams were sourced and a secondary staircase from the kitchen was built to create circular flow.
